TRAP Hot Spring Park, Malaysia Sungkai

TRAP or well known as Taman Rehat Air Panas or Hot Spring Recretional Park where located at Sungai Klah Sungkai, Perak. It took about 2 hours journey from the capital of Malaysia, KL. TRAP is enjoyable place for everyone especially working adult who wish for some spa and relaxing weekend with the nature hot water, foot path reflexology and Ayurveda massage. The entrance fees just cost RM10 for an adult and RM 8 for each children. However, the business hours will be operate from 8a.m to 10 p.m.

There is also a foot path way therapy where full of stones and hot spring water comes along from the underground with the temperature up to 60°C to 100°C. Some believed that, if you walk the path therapy without pain, it means you are healthy. Trap is really a good summer attraction whereby enjoying the hot sun as well as hot water.

Penang - Batu Ferringhi

Hokkien Prawn Mee

Hokkien prawn mee also known as Fujian prawn noodles that is served in Penang. It is a dish of egg noodles and rice noodles in a fragrant stock, which is made from both fresh shrimp and dried prawns, as well as pork or chicken. Traditionally, small cubes of fried pork fat are added to the soup, but this is now less common due to health concerns. It is garnished with prawns, fish cake, leafy greens, pork ribs, squid, vegetables, crisp deep-fried shallots, spring onions and fresh lime.


The dish is served with sliced red chili, light soy sauce and sambal. The dish uses the same egg noodles and rice noodles used in Hokkien hae mee, but is stir fried and served dry. The main ingredients are shrimps and small pieces of sliced pork. It is usually served with lime and sambal chilli.

Orang Asli or known as aborigine is group of indigenous that is found in the peninsular Malaysia where they are surviving in the beauty of natural tropical forest. Nevertheless, there’s still a lot of Orang Asli in Cameron Highland, Malaysia although the country has been develop quite some time. There are three types of Orang Asli in Cameron Highlands, known as “Senoi”, “Orang Melayu Asli”, and “Negrito”. “Senoi” are exactly the same with Malay Malaysian where their forefather is originated from different country such as Vietnam, and Cambodia, however, “Negrito” is darker than Senoi where most of them are live in the jungles.
